So I have a question for those of you that are Obama supporters. Why do you like him? I ask this b/c normally I decide on a candidate by what they stand for. I get this by going and looking at their voting history for bills. I look at Obama and the only time he seems to vote is when it's a vote to go to vote or a vote to table.

Can't remember if I ever posted a lot about the Seminar of James' dept. Don't believe I did. It was a lot of fun!! Ok, so I only went to the dinners and after hr drinking ;) Met one guy named Matt. Quickly became friends b/c we have the exact same taste in music!! Of course me being in music hell here in Bozeman I had him suggest new music that I would like. The one band he suggested? Flyleaf. I am now totally in love with them!!!! If you haven't listened to them, do!! My fave songs are I'm Sorry, Fully Alive, and All Around me. All Around Me somehow I find intoxicating.

So just a few days ago I found myself thinking how it's funny I had so many Eliza icons, themes, etc... a while back and now I mostly have River. Now with the news of Dollhouse, I have a sneaking suspicion I will be going back to heavily Eliza type icons. Not such a bad thing ;)

And also? Damn I'm so happy about Dollhouse!!! The amount of squees that will be coming out of me the first day it's on, I have the feeling James will want to strangle me.

Thank goodness there's a name for this disorder. Somehow I feel
better,even though I have it!!

Recently I was diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D. - Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder. This is how it manifests:

I decide to water my garden. As I turn on the hose in the driveway, I look over at my car and decide it needs washing. As I start toward the garage, I notice mail on the porch table that I brought up from the mail box earlier.

I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car. I lay my car keys on the table, put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table, and notice that the can is full. So I decide to put the bills back on the table and take out the garbage first.

But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the garbage anyway, I may as well pay the bills first. I take my check book off the table and see that there is only one check left.

My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I go inside the house to my desk where I find the can of Coke I'd been drinking.

I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need to push the Coke aside so that I don't accidentally knock it over.

The Coke is getting warm, and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold. As I head toward the kitchen with the Coke, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye -- they need water.

I put the Coke on the counter and discover my reading glasses that I've been searching for all morning. I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers.

I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table. I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, I'll be looking for the remote, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers.

I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit of it spills on the floor. So I set the remote back on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill. Then I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do.

At the end of the day:

the car isn't washed

the bills aren't paid

there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter

the flowers don't have enough water,

there is still only 1 check in my check book,

I can't find the remote,

I can't find my glasses,

and I don't remember what I did with the car keys.

Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really
baffled because I know I was busy all damn day, and I'm really tired.

I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for
it, but first I'll check my e-mail....

don't remember who I've sent it to.

Haunting Evidence - Court TV

So surfing tv and I get to Court TV and see UGA campus. Of course that caught my attention. Turns out it's a Haunting Evidence episode that is on Tara Baker. She was a UGA student that was found dead in her burning apartment. It's so odd that the killer still has not been found. That was such big news when it broke. They had big bulletin boards with her picture all over Athens asking for information.

I could be wrong, but I do believe that is Samantha Ferris on tonight's Battlestar Galactica. She plays the director on The 4400 and is also on Supernatural as the mother.

Why no, I am not watching The Oscars. I don't watch award shows or reality shows. I refuse to. Hope that doesn't offend any of you. Just in the past when I have watched award shows nothing I thought deserved awards got them. And as far as reality? I prefer intelligence to make a show, not people's no talent and lack of brain cells.

~~Ok, so I don't remember what show it was I was watching.~~ It was Bones :) But towards the end I hear Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and I recognize the voice away. It's Tori!! Gawd how I love her!! I was going to post about it then, but for many reasons I didn't.

So the purpose of this post? There are just certain singers, I hear their voice and know who they are!! Tori, definitely!! Sarah McLachlan, oh yeah!! And Alanis.

Is it sad when you hear someone sing and you get excited? It's the little things in life ;)

So I'm watching Flooded, and I realize something I never realized before. Wow Willow and Tara are freeloaders!! Ok, so it's pointed out to Buffy how they're about to go in the red. Why the heck doesn't Willow and Tara not have jobs to help pay for stuff?

Which brings me to another thought. Percentage wise, how many college students don't have to have a job in college? I worked the entire time, sometimes two jobs, and it makes me really bitter about that ;)

Sweet!! Just got info I was hoping for :) Yes, I'm pathetic, I know. James and I had been seeing commercials on UHD that showed Firefly would be on. Just found out it starts Sept. 24. Can't wait!! Firefly in HD is sweet!!
